With option to become a Licenced Conveyancer – Ramsgate, Kent office

As a stepping stone to a career in law, this is an excellent opportunity!

Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, willingness to lend a hand to other staff members in a busy office and a desire to learn, is more important than anything else. English, Maths, and typing skills are required.

Assisting with administration in the Conveyancing Department – to include post opening, scanning, filing, audio typing, taking dictation, drafting simple letter correspondence, dealing with Lenders on the telephone and by fax and email, obtaining redemption statements for mortgages

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

In-House training on our database system. Candidate should be conversant with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Support and training will be given in the workplace to achieve the outcomes of the Apprenticeship. This qualification will be assessed in the workplace with the candidate assigned an Assessor who will work with the employer to deliver the following:
• Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF)
• Employee Right and Responsibilities (ERR)
• Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
• Functional Skills Maths (at required level)
• Functional Skills English (at required level)
• Functional Skills ICT (at required level)

Functional Skills will only be required if the candidate does not have Grade C+ Maths, English and ICT

12 – 18 months with a view to being taken on full time as a Conveyancing Administrator thereafter.
